An invitation to explore sacred sound. You will experience changes and strength to your breathing, absorption of sound in your body and mind, experience yoga with chant, and reconnect more deeply with your inner self, your heart.
You will learn to read a little Sanskrit and to practice the fundamentals of Vedic Chant.
When we chant, we exhale. This has the effect of naturally cultivating fuller, healthier breathing.
As we become better breathers, benefits such as reduced stress, improved focus, and greater mental clarity naturally arise.
Using precise Sanskrit sounds, produces effects within both body and mind that support physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Overall, the practice creates vibrations that balance and foster inner peace, joy, and spiritual connection.
These effects are often amplified when chanting together in a group.
