Sally Riddell, from Ruby 9 Yoga, is delighted to be offering a four week Introduction to Vedic Chant course at Lakshmi Ayurveda.

In these classes you will be introduced to the sounds of Sanskrit, the technicalities of pronunciation and the metre of Vedic Chant.

We will start with simple sounds and chants and progress to chants that are more challenging.

Along the way you will learn the stories and meanings behind each chant.

These classes will follow the traditional way of teaching – call and response between teacher and students, as well as learning to read the Latin transliteration of these chants.

These classes are interactive and fun and I invite you to explore the experience that chant brings for you and the sensations that arise.
